Locations
woods...
.Our first location is an area of woodland near the river Trent near where i live in Radcliffe.
. we will film here in the morning on the 27th of October.
General description: Woodland (trees, logs, bushes) close to the river trent.
. We want to film the first half of the video here, the performer climbing out of the box, exploring the surroundings, seeing the creatures and running away.
Public usage: it is a public walkway but is not that commonly used.
.there are no electrical points to charge the camera but my house is not far away.
. the sunlight comes through the trees lighting it quite nicely yet on say a foggy day we may need extra lighting from torches.
. the camera will need white balancing
. there is of course wildlife ambience such as bird noises and the wind but none of that matters, it wont affect our video outcome as we're dubbing all the sound over.
. Health and safety: The only thing we need to worry about is trip hazards as the ground is covered in twigs, some logs and roots.
Site evaluation: suitability:9, public usage:7, power supply:7, space to move:10, lighting:8, sound:10, health and safety:8
Below you can see the reccee sheets i completed for the woods location...
Garage
Garage (crazy room)
. our second location is inside my garage that has been turned into a 'play room'. the address is 18a cliff drive Radcliffe on Trent NG12 1AX Nottingham.
. we will film here in the afternoon on the 27th october
. General description: A large room with coloured walls and lighting (fairy lights)
. we will film the second half of the video in here from when she comes out of the cupboard, dances, sees the 'circus' animals and disappears.
. There are sockets we can use to charge the camera
. we will need extra lighting as we want it to be dark and lit by low torch light and flashing strobe-like lights.
. camera will need white balancing
. There is no background noise as it's inside
. there are a few power lines and wires son the floor that we will need to be careful about, also the hot lights are a risk to our performers but these are all up high anyway.
